Some vessels are made to disappear behind the arrangement. The Soliloquy isn't one of them.
Matte charcoal exterior. White glazed interior. A single dimensional line running down the neck — the kind of quiet detail you don't notice at first, and then can't stop noticing. This is a vase that holds its own whether it's full of branches or sitting empty on a console.
At nearly 16 inches tall, the Soliloquy is built for the kind of stems most vessels can't accommodate: tall flowering branches, dramatic eucalyptus, late-season foxglove. Or fill it with dried botanicals and let it live as a season-less sculpture in a quiet corner of the room.
This is one of my favorite pieces in the studio — the vessel I reach for when I want the arrangement to feel architectural, not arranged.
