Olive Grove Living Centerpiece

$125.00

The Olive Grove Living Centerpiece is a young olive tree with moss in a textured black pot, planted by hand in Apex, NC.

Narrow gray-green leaves line loose, open branches, trained up a bamboo stake. A cushion of moss and a dark top dressing fill a black pot with a rough, stone-like finish. Mediterranean in feeling and quietly architectural, it wants the brightest spot in the room.

Plant: Olive (Olea europaea)

Vessel: Black pot with a rough, stone-like texture

Finish: Moss, dark top dressing, bamboo stake

Included: Plant, pot, top dressing, moss, and stake. Ready to display.

Light: Full sun or your brightest window. Let the top inch of soil dry between waterings.

Made: Planted by hand in Apex, NC.

Delivery: $15 flat-rate local delivery across the Triangle, or pickup at the studio in Apex.

Where do you deliver? Apex, Cary, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, and the surrounding Triangle, for a flat $15.

How do I care for it? Olives need a lot of light. A south or west window is best, and the soil should dry slightly between waterings. Bring inside once temperatures get below 40 degrees consistently. You can take it back out during the spring and summer when temperatures hit 60 consistently. Note - when changing the environment, the tree may drop leaves as it readjusts.

Each plant grows in its own shape, so yours may differ slightly from the photos.
