Three tulips stand at different heights, from a closed white bud to soft pink blooms just opening, with their own leaves curving low across the front. Dark bare branches draw a line up and out behind them, and long, arching greens spill over the rim. Tulips keep growing and turning toward the light after they are cut, so the lines shift a little each day. Quiet, open, and early spring.
